Every three days...

There was a long period of my life when I could not imagine going a day without washing my hair. For the last three years I have had long hair which is unusual for me. Over that period of time I have begun to realize that my hair actually looks and feels better when I don't wash it every day. I now only wash it every third day. This is nice because I use less shampoo which means I can buy better quality products like weleda or something similar. It is nice to be able to get out of bed and take a quick shower without spending an hour messing with my hair. My hair tends to look nice for a few days after I style it with only a little bit of freshening up. It is a nice change of pace. I wish I had discovered the ease of long hair years before this.
