Amused...

A friend of mine has gotten into canning after listening to me talk about about my canning adventures for the last couple of years. I can between 300 and 800 jars of food a year. It all depends on what I have on hand and what my garden produces. She makes fun of how much I can but I think she is slowly transitioning to doing more and more canning. This year she purchased her first bushel of green beans for canning. I find it amusing to listen to her talk about how much work a bushel of beans is to process. I don't say anything but can't help but think that a bushel is nothing compared to the 110 pounds of beans I did two years ago.
