The end is in sight...
Last year I canned over 800 jars of food. This year I am canning about half of that. The reason being that we still have plenty of food left from last year. I try to keep a one year supply of food on hand at all times. People think this is crazy but I don't care. It give me a sense of security. I only have couple of things left to process on my list this year. Once I have processed a bunch of potatoes, more meat, and a few more assorted jars of sauce my canning will be done. Then I can turn my attention to stocking our pantry with dry goods. Food prices are not going to be going down and I want to buy all I can before prices start to sky rocket.
