I do believe I am developing a bit of a backbone...
I have decided to respond, on occasion when people send me emails or post information on Facebook that promotes fear mongering in people based on inaccurate or just plain false information. It is not hard in this day and age to spend a moment verify the facts of an email you are about to send or a post you are about to cut and paste. There is enough scary stuff going on in this world without making stuff up to promote fear. I might be in a mood but for the last couple of weeks I have been linking these inaccurate posts and emails to the real information from whence these false reports come. I am tired of people promoting fear just because that is how we are programmed to see our world.
