No peach tree for me.

Earlier in the fall I had accidentally placed an order for two peach trees. I had only meant to order one but somehow ended up placing the same order twice. I had tried to cancel the order but this proved difficult. Luckily, today I received an email from the company that I ordered the trees from indicating that they would be unable to fulfill either of my orders. So, as it would turn out I am getting zero peach trees instead of 2. Given that the weather here has been crazy I am actually very glad that none of the trees are coming. It will allow me to order a tree in the spring which might give it a better chance of survival. Our weather has turned bitterly cold very early in the season and I had my doubts that the trees would have survived.
