What to do?

This year we are getting a fairly nice tax return. It was surprising when I did our taxes to realize just how big our return was going to be. It isn't quite clear what the difference is between last year and this one but for some reason there is one. Our income wasn't significantly higher but our return is going to be. We would love to take one of those Fort Myers vacations you hear about. The truth is that we have some debt we should pay off and this has me debating between the two options. My husband works really hard and would love a very relaxing vacation. I know what is the more financially responsible choice but have to weigh what is the more mentally responsible one as well.
