I am now in a phase of my diet where I eat a meal plan very similar to the Atkins diet. I am new to Atkins and had a question for everyone that has been successful on it.

I have read up on this diet and it seems a lot of the weight dropped is water and not necessarily fat. Following induction to a "T", how long did it take for you to see results from the diet, inches wise? I'm not looking for fast results, but sustainable and steady results based on strong adherence to the diet itself.

I wanted to try to this diet because I believe I can do well with a diet with restrictions. I always felt hungry on a low calorie diet and am willing to try a diet that does not count calories, only carbs.
