In an effort to put his time to good use, gain some control over his own life, and reduce his stress, dh started a weight loss plan this week. He is using the same plan that I used a couple of years ago when I lost around 20 pounds. I think this will be really good for him, and I am proud of his effort.
He is sticking to a 1900 calorie a day plan, and going to the gym twice a day (once in the morning with me and then after he takes a kid to an activity in the evening). Once he gets a job, he will keep the afternoon exercise time since he will be working in the morning.
The program he is using says that he will have reached his goal of losing 15 pounds on July 17th.
I am very proud of him.
