Our electric bills sky rocketed this month. Apparently our local power place wasn't making enough money and raised the rates. In my on going effort to save money I have this week replaced at the light bulbs in our house with high efficiency bulbs. One of the grocery stores had them clearance priced at a $1.99 and I had coupons so this was almost like getting them for free. They claim on the package that they will last 7 years?? The funny part is the suggested savings is $55 per bulb over 7 years. You have to read the small print to find out the 7 years part.
