There are bloggers out there in the blogosphere who report having their blogs shut down over night for setting off the Google duplicate content filter. This is something all of us need to be aware of because we often innocently snatch bits and pieces of thoughts from other blogs or on the web and forget to reference etc. It is important to protect yourself and your fellow bloggers by using proper references and unique content. Proper blogging etiquette suggests that even ideas for layout, titles, and themes should not just be randomly taken but we should ask for a nod of approval before snagging them. It is these qualities that make our blogs unique... Be respectful to your fellow bloggers and don't randomly borrow the ideas they work hard to come up with.
