Thankful...
My husband is the type of guy who has a natural mechanical intuition. It is really pretty amazing because his father was never really involved in his life and didn't teach him this sort of thing. It all started when we were newly married and one of our cars broke down. We didn't have the money to pay someone to fix it and he decided to try to fix the problem himself. Since then in the twenty years that we have been married we have only taken a vehicle to the garage a couple of times. Yesterday he fixed a problem with the airbag system in our truck by installing a new clock spring. Tonight he starting the process of replacing the upper control arms and shocks on our truck. Next week he will be putting a new oxygen sensor on the truck. I am so thankful he has these skills because the cost of these repairs at a mechanic would be two or three times what the parts have cost us.
