Regrowing celery...
Do you buy fresh celery from the store? If you do I want to tell you the neatest thing that I have been doing with the bottom of the celery that you normally cut off and throw away (or compost). I have been taking that bottom inch or two of the celery bulb and placing it in a small dish of water. After a week or so the celery starts to regrow leaves out of the top where the cut is. Once the leave appear I bury the bulb in dirt up to the leaves. The celery then continues to grow into an entirely new celery plant. This is a great way to get more bang for your dollar and is a really fun project for children.
