Day out and about...

We are a one car family. It has been about a year since we got rid of our second vehicle. It was hard to justify the cost of insurance to keep a second vehicle sitting in the driveway. For the most part this has not been a hassle. There are times when I wish I could put the kids in the car and go for a drive but these moments are rare. Given the cost of gas today it is hard to just go out and drive for no reason. Today, I took advantage of the gorgeous weather and took the kids out and about. They had a blast just visiting stores and looking at everything. It makes them appreciate shopping trips all the more when they are few and far between.
