Fireplace fun.

We used our fireplace for the first time this week. We wanted to use it last year but were afraid to without having it inspected first. Now that it has been inspected and deemed safe to use we plan on using it often. It was so much fun to actually put the finished basement to good use. The kids loved watching a movie next to a roaring fire. We treated them to making smores indoors which is something they only thought we could do while camping. I have to admit that a nice fire made even the two most boring movies I have ever watched seem interesting. I just sat and stared at the flames and daydreamed and it was all good.
