Breaking the habit.

I have been working at not using paper towels unless absolutely necessary. To help remind me to not automatically reach for the paper towels, I started keeping some folded, cleaning rags right by the paper towels to remind me to think if the cleaning rag can be used instead. I have to say, at least 3/4 of the time the clean dry cloth will do nicely. I mistakenly bought some of those bargain washcloths, several years back. The kind that comes in 20 for $2.00 or something cheap like that. I actually was going to use them for washcloths and found out they're like sandpaper...so I put them with my cleaning rags to use and they work great. That's also what I use instead of ( when I can ) paper towels. I still clean the potty with disposable towels.
