Hard Choices

My husband and I are having a dilemma. We are trying to sell our house and do not know if we should go through a a local agency that we are not familiar with, or go through our friend who just recently became a real estate agent and is working out of her home. Each has its benefits and potential pitfalls. On one hand we could go with the local agency who is reputable but run the risk of getting lost in an endless sea of other clients trying to sell their homes. We could go with our friend who has no experience but would be dedicated to selling our home only. Either way, in a market that is completely in the toilet, both would probably have just as difficult a time selling our home in a timely manner and for the price we would want.
