My little brother seemed to perpetually have a cough as a child. This recipe is very similar to the one the doctor had my Mom make for him. I am not sure how good giving whiskey to a child would be in today's world. I wouldn't do it but I might just try this for myself before bed in desperation LOL!
COUGH SYRUP
2 round Peppermint candies
1 Halls cough drop
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. honey
2 tylenol
2 tbsp. Karo
1/4 c. whiskey
Cook until it makes thick syrup.
