My first night on the phones was a utter disaster!
They told us in training that we would not be doing customer service issues for weeks until after we had the sales side down pat. So what do I end up doing? Entirely customer service inquiries. Our training consisted of hours of reading power point presentations and then we got to actually practice one CSI!!!
It was very disheartening and when I told them in the chat room I had no idea what I was doing they asked if I had actually attended training??? Um yeah... but you didn't train me on this.
All the calls seemed like fake calls anyways - people with over the top requests or those who had called already in the day for the exact same thing and the note said it was resolved.
I will give it another try but there are more efficient ways to beat yourself over the head!
