Raining...

We are so happy to see the sky darken and rain clouds form! Our area has been experiencing quite a dry spell. The ground is so dry the grass crunches when you walk on it. We have had rain but, it hasn't been a good soaking rain. As I type there is thunder in the distance. It rained quite a bit yesterday. I can only hope that what is coming is a nice long steady rain. Although we are just about done harvesting the produce from our garden I am sure it would benefit from one last nice rain. Thankfully we haven't had a drought like last year and things have grown nicely despite intermittent periods with no rain.
