Joy...

My husband has been in a funk for quite a while. He has been having some worrisome health problems and has a very stressful job. His job is one that requires him to carry a huge caseload of clients and the paperwork associated with them is overwhelming. No single person in his entire department is every caught up with their work because they are so understaffed. The clients are very demanding and believe they have every right to immediate service even when they don't meet their requirements for participation in services. Today my husband was offered a job with a different department and called me in tears to tell me about the new job. That should tell you just how stressful his job is for him. To cry tears of joy simply because you are switching departments!
