Garden planning...

We are in the process of planning the layout for our new garden. This garden will be much bigger than anything we have had previously. We are hoping to use rain water that we collect via a simple gutter system to do the majority of the irrigation for the garden. My son has all kinds of plans for how our rain water collection system could be improved if we were to install a pump and some teflon hose but I really want to keep it simple. Getting the ground ready and building a fence will be a big enough project for this year without any addition projects. I am looking at this year as an experiment that we can improve upon in the years to come.
