Keeping busy - as usual...

Having idle time is not something I am used to. It is in my blood to keep busy and keep learning and doing new things. This week I decided to try my hand at canning citrus. I have to say that this is not something that I will be doing again real soon. It is a great deal of work. Possibly more work than anything else I have canned. As a follow-up project I decided the time had come to process all the garlic heads I had stored from my garden. Let me tell you that peeling the cloves from 80 heads of garlic is a time consuming process. Hopefully, the garlic powder tastes amazing and it was worth my effort.
