Not a teenager...

It is hard to believe my oldest son will turn ten years old soon. I keep reminding myself that it won't be long before our world has a teenager in it. I swear this week I spotted a zit on his cheek and it took me by surprise. I am just ready to be worrying about getting him the right acne treatment and all of that stuff. As selfish as it is I want him to just be a boy for a while longer and enjoy life without a bunch of teenage angst getting in the way. I am hoping his teenage years will be uneventful and happy. It is hard to watch the news and not worry about what is coming a few years down the road.
