A good day.

We took both our children to the zoo this week. Prior to leaving I had reservations about how the day would go with a toddler and a highly active 8 year old. In hindsight I have to say this was one of our best days of our trip. Our toddler was content to ride in his stroller for a good part of the day. We purchased a backpack buddy for him and he contently walked with us the rest of the day. He loved looking at the many displays which were very hands on in nature. The highlight of his trip was touching the ostrich feathers they has out as part of an educational display. Say what you will about kids on leashes but I could care less because our "backpack buddy" made this trip enjoyable and most importantly safe for the entire family!
