Why vacation here?

The people next door have company from South Carolina. One of the guys visiting over there looks absolutely bored out of his mind every time I look at him. He came up here to visit his friend who recently relocated here. I kind of feel sorry for anyone who is here at this particular time of year. There are any travel guides that can really predict what it is going to be like when spring comes to Western New York. Last year it was hot and sunny. This year it is still really cold and rainy. The cold and the rain make it impossible to enjoy any of the limited attractions are area has to offer. This means the poor guy has virtually been sitting around watching television for a week. I think I would go back to South Carolina if it were me.
