Just good "cents"

Once I started working from home and contributing more to the family income my husband recently did something I thought he would never do. Neither one of us has no real vices but I do like to do some shopping now and then but have always felt guilty taking it out of joint checking account. Surprisingly my husband told me to go ahead and start my own checking account which really made a lot of sense. We know other couples with separate checking accounts but I never thought we made enough money to do that so I never suggested it. Now, as long as we keep all of the other bills paid up to date and food on the table, I will test the waters so to speak and maybe pave the way for my husband to try the same thing and get rid of that coffee can he thinks I don't know about he has hidden in the garage.
