I posted a while back about being shafted by a seller on eBay. After filing a complaint with PayPal I was shocked to find my merchandise on the porch yesterday. The seller used the excuse that the item was shipped from Hawaii and that the seller could not be held responsible for the postal service. Considering it took a month for the item to arrive I find this excuse a bit faulty. The seller charged for priority mail shipping and even coming from Hawaii that cannot take a month! I noticed that this seller has had several complaints for delayed shipping all over the world and responds identically to all the complaints. This seller might want to consider offering travel insurance for purchases shipped outside of Hawaii. Given the outrageous shipping fees this seller charged the insurance should be included free. Of course simple communication would be a good start in this case. The seller never corresponded or responded to messages inquiry about the purchase. I could have rowed a boat to Hawaii and picked the package up myself and gotten it quicker.
