It doesn't seem possible but stores are already pushing Halloween decorations. I am not a big fan of Halloween but the kids enjoy it. Last year was the first year our son actually went out door to door and it was surprisingly fun. He was never really aware of Halloween when he was little so I didn't push the issue. The child didn't like candy until the last year or so (thank goodness)!
Now that he is a "big" second grader I wonder what sort of costume will meet his approval? Seriously, the boy wore the same fireman costume 3 years in a row to preschool because he liked it so much :) Every year he said he wanted to be a fireman and we said fine. We definitely got our $20 out of that costume.
