My oldest son was given a beautiful piggy bank at birth. Over the last few years he has saved every penny, dime, and dollar ever given him. "Piggy" is now busting forth with dollars and needs to go on a diet. This evening we will sit down and empty her out. I wish we had a
coin sorter because I really hate the task of sorting money. I am thinking that my son is now at the right age where we can open his own savings account and start to teach him about banking and saving his money in a more meaningful way. "Piggy" will still be good for those pennies and dimes in the meantime.
