Voracious Readers

Reading is an absolute passion of mine. I believe this stems back to my childhood and the importance my family placed on reading in our lives. This is something I have tried very hard to instill in my children. I am now seeing this appetite for knowledge in my oldest son and love that he asks "when he can go read"? We have a rather extensive collection of books ranging in topics from catholic books like the DaVinci Code to medical reference and everything in between. My son is not dissuaded by any book not matter how thick and cumbersome and just yesterday began to tackle Robinson Crusoe! While there are many things as a parent I would like to do better or wish I could take back reading to my children is not one of them.
